There is a certain knot which was fairly common as a heraldic device, of which I cannot remember the name. I remember liking it, though. I will see if I can find it...

probably "meus" sounds more similar to the venetian dialect "meo".

This is one of my favourite Polish cities, but purely for linguistic reasons, as I've never been there. I really should go sometime.

Mermaid is symbol of Warsaw (legend of mermaid who settled there)
