I was quite fond of using this app now it appears they're branching out into ancient languages.

Yes, they’ve added Latin. I had to report some answers, as it’s not the best as of now. But, it’s still in Beta, so of course there are things to be fixed.

I don't have much experience with hearing spoken Latin, but it seems to me that they do not distinguish between long and short vowels?

I didn't see there was a way to do that, but now that you mentioned it, I see it! (Small use to me, though, as my report of an error is likely to be erroneous itself -- and I almost made an error report but recognized my mistake just in time!) Tiro sum.
